But the more relevant point is that there are already threads on these topics, so I'm not sure of the value of reiterating them in a new thread that's probably not going to reach the same level of depth.
If the forum powers-that-be want to do a stickied flame-free newbie spoonfeeding thread like there are in some of the other forums, then I'd be fine with that.
