It is there in the BP barcode along with the PNR (which can be used to look up the ticket) , UA MP account, ticket number, other ticket info (date, cities, flight number, seat, ....), TSA PreCheck status, ...
Look into PDF417 readers.
A number of those would be there if it's a UA ticket. I'm just surprised that UC can pick up all the relevant info from another airline
