I was quoting your use of the word expectation.
It's not an expectation I have. It would be nice, but to be clear, I don't expect it would happen. Which is why I asked if it might.
I'd rather not get into a discussion with someone who isn't really reading what I am writing with comprehension.
For what it's worth, I don't think anyone gives a rat's behind babout my marriage, and I literally do not expect them to.
What I do want to do is try to see what happens. Am I clear now?

You even call it an expectation! Then deny you expect it.... lol
Yes.. definitely nice if it did.... no argument there...any free upgrade is clearly welcome!
So...they should grant EVERY request? Or just yours? I'm curious given you say its a customer service reputation matter....and Ive been on flights with MORE than one newlywed couple.... should they ALL get upgrades on request?
I get plenty of upgrades... using upgrade instruments/miles... have not and never will ask for a freebie. Its not about me... youre the one planning to ask for a cabin you haven't paid for.....
Congratulations on your impending nuptials... but realise that to the vast majority of the population it is YOUR special day... not theirs.weddings are extremely common events.......no offence intended...
