I noticed a while back that the YYZ flight flipped departure times with the YUL flight. YUL departure used to be about 1:30 and YYZ, 11:30 (non daylight savings time). I wondered how permanent the shift might be. Will it revert back next month with the summer schedule updates?

Good luck with this.
Yeah I never got that.

IIRC, YULCDG departed before YYZCDG, yet left CDG after the YYZ flight. That 77W spent hours on the ground... I wonder why...

Considering the amount of French citizen living / studying in Montreal, it could be that there were more people from the regions of France taking these flights. I remember a few friends taking the TGV from remote regions to CDG, which can take a while. So I guess 130pm departure was nice to grab some traffic.

But with flights to Nice, Lyon, Marseille... I wonder if all these factors affect scheduling.

Nevertheless, OP, ai remember connecting on separate tickets to that same flight of yours. T2 to T1 (or was it T3? Can't remember... the one with the *A lounge with the TK, ANA and LH flights).

With the priorité 1 passes and Priority bag tags, it was rough. I think we were arriving 11am ish and departing 130pm. We were delayed on outbound thanks to Istanbul winter weather.

The luggage can take a long time and make Pearson look like hyper speed delivery. The train between terminals can be super packed (and it's slow too). And the walk from the station at T2 all the way to T2A is absolutely not short and extremely crowded with a bunch of long haul departures. Customs may be fast though.

If AC gave you a schedule change, why now just call and take the later flight? Worse case, tell the agent you're on a connecting flight that is too tight and just reschedule for next day departure.
