Inflight Wifi certificate expired

You just couldn't make this stuff up if you tried...

TK flying LAX-IST on Friday. Initially Wifi wasn't working - you could connect to the wifi and get to the splash screen, but couldn't get to the "portal" to login. About an hour in I reported it to one of the flight attendants, and they reset the entertainment system for the entire plane to try and resolve it - but still no go.

A few hours later it was still broken.

A few hours after that I tried again it was working, but now the SSL certificate was showing as expired - as of 3/March/2017. I'm guessing they use the same cert on all planes, so it was probably like that across the entire fleet.

Accepting the certificate error I was able to get to the login page - which then claimed that my name/seat number didn't match so it wouldn't give me the free business class access. At that point I just gave up...
