Yes the terrorists delight, a free invite to see all the buttons and knobs with a free view out of the front of the bus. First time it happened to me was as a 12 year old on a BA (BOAC ?) Super 1-11 flying to Innsbruck, and I still have the photos. Such things are of course strictly forbidden these days, along with the giddy pleasure of looking down into the cockpit from the open air viewing platforms at Manchester Airport and looking at the pilots in the years before the number of PIA arrivals made that just too dangerous to consider - oops did I just say that out loud.

So it came as a pleasant surprise to learn that AF La Premiere class passengers (max of 6 on the 777) are routinely invited up front for a chat with the pilots, presumably on non-American flights of course.
