Hmm ok it seems though as if that isn't as big of a problem as people make it out to be. I think I'd rather be on the aisle and not have anyone stepping over me than be on the window and not "share" a footwell.

Flying SFO-FRA this afternoon, should be interesting to compare this flight to the same one I took 2 years ago. Service then was terrible, but this time I've chosen a seat in the mini-cabin in rows 21-24 so hopefully service is better. I'm praying to have a similar experience to the one time I flew the 747 UD from FRA-YVR ... just incredible service.
