I think you and I both need to look into getting the Lloyds Avios card, which gives a solo upgrade voucher. With this I could (in theory) pay the avois for two business class flights plus one WT+ flight, and use the two 2-4-1's and upgrade voucher to turn it into five business class flights.
The 241 voucher on the Lloyds card is in y only, you'd have to spend 10k minimum on the BA premium card and another 5k on the lloyds card to get that scenario. Your bookings would also be seperate PNRs since the BA Amex voucher credits to BAEC and the Lloyds to Avios.com.

Sorry to hear your plans have had to change, but the T&C are quite clear in reality. Hope you enjoy the trip whatever you end up doing however.
