I think the vast majority of pax experiences in BA f are fine - the generally good to excellent BA cabin crews - and while the mains can sometimes be poor - starters, soups and desert are usually very good. BA F seats are comfortable enough.
What BA F is not, is it's not on the level of QF, QR, EY, EK, SQ, CX, JL, NH, MH, TG in terms of airlines that offer F service ex-LHR.
Yet BA has so many routes where they don't have F competition or the F product of competitors is lacking.
It also sounds like LH is axing F from its MUC A330 fleet, so the available seats connecting onto LH F is being reduced, and AF F is already very limited.
