Really? Could not disagree more.
It's a generalization (and these are inherently unfair) but domestic customer support agents tend to be easier to understand and have provided me with better service.
I have closed numerous non-Amex credit cards because the few times I had to call in for customer support, I could not understand the person on the other line.
