Platinum mass market
Sadly you are correct about the fact that Platinim has become mass market. I've had mine for over 30 years when a Platinum was a Platinum - it was by invitation- and garnered even some respect. Now everybody has one and they really cheapened it as they seek quantity vs quality - and ignoring the loyal base that supported them.
