I used to witness similar behaviour on the 07.24 from Milngavie to Glasgow train every weekday morning. Those with briefcases and suits would always board first as they assumed they were more important than anyone else....some even had airline status tags on their cases. They were followed by those who had laptop backpacks, wore black anoraks and sported beards...the type that work in the IT sector. Then came the infrequent commuters and those who wore jeans.
And last to board was happy me.
