I flew First to GIG yesterday, having previously taken my last First flight in 2015, and the experience was great.

A few particular comments given recent feedback on FT.

- Full cabin but greeted by name and personal welcome from CSD.
- food was generally very good and I was offered soup and salad in addition to my starter.
- proactively encouraged to have cheese and pudding, offered port and dessert wine and top ups.
- proactively offered chocolates with coffee.
- told I could dine whenever I liked for both the main and second meal.
- addressed by name throughout and crew offered advice and tips on visiting Rio.

I'm not a frequent F traveller mainly because I can't justify the expense above CW typically for what is often a fairly similar offering, but on this occasion the service and delivery really did impress me. Well Done on its way as the crew really did seem polished and after reading many of the recent posts on here (perhaps my expectations had been lowered?) I had a great flight. Looking forward to my return in just over a week.
