The better way of doing this is to both go to reception first, get swiped together into FLY and then Mme. Africanflyer1955 can go off for a wander and return without issue. This seems to me to be very logical, but I appreciate it may appear less so for some people.

Reception staff swap around every 45-120 minutes and with thousands of lounge users daily there is a limit to what is expedient here.
