Most of my leisure flying with Mrs AF is done from T3. As Mrs AF likes a trip around the shops I normally go to the lounge ahead and tell the receptionist she will be along. They swipe my BP, add the guest and sometime later Mrs AF appears.

Today we are going from T5. To make life easy I went to GF rather than CCR. Explained the situation to the very pleasant receptionist who said "no problem" at all sir. 15 minutes later I am in the bathroom and Mrs AF summons me by phone saying the (same) receptionist insists I return to the desk so she can swipe my BP again.

Am I just lucky with the girls on T3 or is this standard procedure?
