First off, the tile of this thread sounds like a winery toddler posted it... that being said, given how I've seen some passengers treat gate agents I'm sure they deserved it!
Also, why do some passengers feel as though gate agents or airline employees aren't humans. We all have our good and bad days. Sometimes a gate agent just flat out doesn't care about your situation, and that's ok. Walk away, call American, or find an AAgent who's having a good day to help you out.
