Been wondering how well the "we just got married" request works on airlines. We will be taking part of this journey on Oman Air, from London to Muscat and then on to Hong Kong via Bangkok.

We have some good priced economy tickets. Not clear what class of economy they are, but wondering if we show our marriage certificate (if that's necessary) if I could convince the gate agent or ticket agent for a little courtesy bump up.

It's the first marriage for both of us.

We will also be going Hong Kong, London, Helsinki on this trip.
