Does United have a site I can use to test my hardware and software configuration before getting on the plane? Despite installing all of the add-ins on my MacBook Pro, using the system has been hit and (mostly) miss.
I'll give credit to United for seeming to make available for (free) download the various plugins. On my Mac the challenge was making sure Safari would run Adobe Flash, which required some settings tweaks that the United troubleshooting guide doesn't cover.
Meanwhile, the buffering was horrid - I kept getting audio breakups from fractional second hiccups. Really annoying and no apparent workaround (as on Youtube, where you can pause and let the video load).
