Hi all!

Newbie to the Flyer Talk forums here (first post!!). I was hoping that you guys might be able to provide some assistance. I'm looking to fly to the West Coast of the US (LAX/Bay Area/San Diego) during the late summer from either London or a lower cost European city - on BA of course. What's the best way to go about checking fares etc? I've read in other post that the ITA Matrix does always provide the lowest price offering?

I'm a real novice here and want to be a bit more proactive with my fare searche. Anyway, any assistance would be much appreciated!
