I had tried searching the united club info, but it was not a lot to go on. Some additional clarifications:

1. 11 hour layover was not first choice. However we needed to go on this specific date to make a connecting cruise in New Zealand. The only other option for the miles from ABQ would have been the preferable time of 1:00 pm with only about 5 hours to wait. But there were not any mileage points flights offered, then after booking United moved the daparture time from 8:30 AM to 7:15, so I just marked it up to the adventure of free flights.

2. We were not really interested in going to San Francisco for anytime at all. My wife has some fatigue issues and this is a very long trip for her. So with the free passes to the United Club, we just thought we could have a quieter and more comfortable location to wait.

3. The other reason to not go in, is we will both have a small backpack which would be ok to take with us, but we will both have a carry-on. I did check the luggage storage at the airport and it would cost something between 15-35 dollars for each bag for the day.

4. We have considered just getting a hotel for the day, to try to go get a nap and clean up as well before the late flight.

So, being that the passes are one entry only, if we are to spend an extended amount of time at just one UC in SFO, which one will be the best?
