Hello fellow members,

I plan on renting a vehicle at KOA and noticed that in returning the vehicle the times the facilities open up are different. Some open at 5:00 AM (Hertz, Avis, Budget), some at 5:30 AM (Thrifty, Dollar, Alamo, National) and one even much later at 7:00 AM (Enterprise).

My issue is that my flight leaves at 6:05 AM to HNL.
My preferred rental is Alamo, or Enterprise, but I honestly do not think I have enough time to wait for them to open up at 5:30AM or later, to then wait for shuttle to take me to the terminal and go through security in time for the flight.

So has anyone used the off hours from any one of the rental companies that open at 5:30 AM, so I can drop off the vehicle before 5:30AM and probably walk to the terminal, or should I just go for one that opens at 5AM.
