I always read the terms and conditions as granting access to the lounge, but not indicating that the cert provided a club room. I assumed it was simply something that was no longer being given.

In many properties, that would be manageable, but in some resorts, where the club is with the club rooms in a separate area of the resort, that will be a pain.

The benefit is fairly limited if you ask me - all that extra travel/hyatt bookings for free breakfast and canapés...
