Why did a airport security employee checked your boarding pass?
Alaska usually arrives in LAX Terminal 6.
Aeroflot departs from TBIT. There is an airside walkway to get to TBIT. Once entering TBIT you do not have to pass security.

I would assume you have accidently left Terminal 6 to landside, otherwise, your story doesn't make much sense.
AS 150 arrives in LAX at 05:58 and SU 107 doesn't depart until 15:00.

I was aware of the airside connection, but I thought I would go get a haircut and stretch my legs along the beach before my tropical February trip to Russia -- especially since I had no bags to lug around.
