Apparently VNS runaway is scheduled to get an extension/repavement starting this month. As expected, this has been getting delayed for a while, and the airport authority, AAI, and airlines are unaware of the latest updates and not in touch with each other.

Currently the runway is suppose to be open between 6 - 9 and 18 - 21 only. And should be ready in 2-3 months.

Hence, small airline Vistara has completely cancelled VNS flights indefinitely due to uncertainty and not having regular schedule between the hours mentioned above.

And the others (Jet, AI, Indigo, Spice) are allowing booking for flights that already ran between those hours with full service schedule to return in June.
