Too late to help the OP, but maybe it will be useful for other people.


I took a 2-2.5 hr Jin flight between Korea and Japan. As far as I was concerned the quality was the same or slightly better than a normal economy ticket on a mainline US carrier. You do get a free checked bag and slightly better in flight service compared to a non-status flyer in the US.


The flight attendants dress really informally for an Asian airline (still pretty though). They wear jeans and occasionally baseball caps, which drew some funny complaints from some of the older Koreans on the flight.
