The hotel is still selling Fairmont rooms at an avg. rate of $800/night and Fairmont Gold rooms at an avg rate of $900/night. The main downside is not the rate itself (which actually isn't that insane IMHO), but the 4 night minimum stay requirement which is being strictly enforced withzero room for negotiation.

Last time I talked to the hotel, it was at ~97% occupancy, with all bookings being non-refundable.
