There is never a clear answer to these questions since, if your inbound is two hours late, two hours is not enough. I would leave as much time as possible, possibly overnight, if the second flight is expensive.

Not referring to PPT in particular, but when booking Long-haul connecting to Short-haul on separate tickets leave a very long transfer or book a flexible onward ticket. Last time I did the latter, first flight arrived early and I could change to an earlier connecting flight.
