Though if it's a short term medical issue, those kinds of shoes can come with a quite dear cost for that short term, especially when you're talking a new FA who probably doesn't make much. I love my black Ecco low wedge heel loafers and could still probably run a 10K in them comfortably after owning them for years. But they were, IIRC, $130 in 2007.
Better to get a waiver from a supervisor to wear the yellow ones than spend a week's grocery budget for shoes you don't really need anymore in 4-8 weeks.
