I don't know why they want to be first off the plane. If you were on AC07, there are no more AC flight leaving after AC07 until the next day. If you were on AC015, the next AC flight leaving is in at least 7 hours!
Who said anything about displacing anyone in J? I simply wanted to know if putting staff in J was standard practice. I would think taking the highest paying flyers out of E and putting them up front would do more for the business in the longer term.
And yes, they were from YVR, and as you might be wondering, I was on the flight that leaves around 10PM from YYZ - would that be the one you mean?
