Resurrecting a long-dead thread. No, I will not be spending $40k on a ring, but I do have a 4-figure jewelry purchase on the near horizon. It appears no CC's added benefits (price protection, warranty, etc) apply to jewelry, so the best I could hope for is the best earning / redemption value. Do I have this about right or is there actually a CC out there that favors those about to make a jewelry purchase?
