I called this morning around 7:30 EST (as I was going to be out all day) to apply a _SU. Got the recording telling me the number was no longer operational and to consult the Hyatt website or the back of my card (which of course had the number I was calling, since I have not received my new Glob card) for the new number, but was eventually transferred. The two agents to whom I spoke both noted that they had been very busy with calls from around the globe, complained that there had been grossly insufficient/inadequate training, and the second one had considerable difficulty with the system, and called a supervisor, who did not answer the phone, but eventually did manage to upgrade my room. 20 minutes or so out of my life.
Oh, yes, I'm supposed to be grateful because they almost took them away completely, right?
