The credit card fee is usually in the 2% range right? If that's the case getting 10,000 miles for £100 doesn't seem like such a bad deal. Are there any deals out there that are better than this?

Does the shop want to do something dodgy? I don't think that that's the case as it was just an idea that my friend had because I was talking to him about ways of getting miles without flying.

My friend also doesn't make anything from this.
