I still find IFE/ PDE to be a real weak link for UA. It is a great idea but in execution it is just too unreliable. This month on an E75, YYZ-IAH it worked fine with 2 Android devices, one an S6 running Android 6.0.1. The other was an S2 tablet but I don't know what version of Android it has.

The very next day, on IAH -UIO, on a 737-800 both devices kept getting a message that my version of Android was not supported. Very frustrated that on a 5 hour plus flight there was zero IFE available in FC. AVOD on all AC and Avianca segments , so UA comes across as either cheap or incompetent. There were lots of complainta around us from passengers being unable to access content, although one couple near is using I Phones seemed happy. If you are going to go this route at least make it work.
