I stayed at the Hilton Wangfujing for 3 nights last year. Had an upgrade to a great suite and the service at the hotel was brilliant. Canapes and buffet breakfast were awesome and the lounge included alcohol.

The advantage of the location is you are within walking distance of the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. The location is a very upmarket part of town with a large mall next to it so you could be mistaken for thinking you are't actually in China! It is around a 10 min walk from the nearest subway station and there are plenty of dining options and some bars nearby.
