Going from MVP to MVP Gold this past year has saved me about $400 so far this year. I even changed dept. cities once (SNA to LAX) and the MVP reservation agent reduced my airfare!

I've only had issues with the AS kiosks a few times when the system crashed. You can just give your confirmation number to the agent and check-in with no problems.
