Asiana has had quite a number of minor incidents since their cost-cutting drive started (there is an ongoing epidemic of alarms falsely going off and an incident in which two pilots got into fisticuffs in the cockpit). Delays with their flights have also been quite frequent recently because they literally do not have any planes in reserve.

Both Korean and Asiana have ...... corporate cultures (even by Korean standards) but Korean Air has to some degree, fixed some of the problems concerning safety. They also actually have some planes in reserve so if a flight gets canceled replacement planes are available.
