I just booked an award stay in a club room for a family vacation. I have no status with hyatt. My question is whether getting the hyatt cc will have any benefit? It looks like that would get me Discoverist status. The only benefit that I could find is "best room in category". Am I missing something else worth noting?
Are all the club rooms pretty much the same? Or would having one of the better club rooms be worth it?

Now that the club has changed location, a club room can be anywhere in any of the three buildings....just means you get club access.
The ocean front rooms are great but just for the view. The rooms are all a little tired.
IF you have enough points, get a suite. Bigger bathroom, more space, two lanais. The suites were done up about three years ago and are really nice....means you definitely get an ocean front room
