Planning a trip on Coast Starlight Spring break with family from LA to SEA. Last week I checked the price was 680$ for the bedroom and this week 1200$$$! I wonder if I can book the roomette now (only $480) and if the bedroom price drop before my trip (which I have seen), can I upgrade without cancellation fee?
I have upgraded to a bedroom from a roomette on several occasions, when bedrooms were still available a day or two prior to departure, and never had to pay a fee.
