Hopefully AS will get this route and this will definitey be a good mileage run route for me. I will definitely book myself on the inaugural flight.

The schedule for the new route looks pretty good.
Departing SEA at 1:10pm, and arriving DCA at 9pm. Still have time to catch the last Shuttle flight to Boston or NYC. The return flight is a bit early... but is still pretty good. Hopefully this route will feature the printed menu service, DVD players, and enhanced meal services like the ANC-ORD flight.

But will it operate by Boeing 737-700 or -900? I think CEO Kelley said the new route will use the long haul Boeing 737-700. The Boeing 737-900 can be used on this route, but I don't know if the load factor will be that high.
