We are staying here this summer. We were told it is the best property in the lodge. We booked the Presidential Suite. I don't believe this can be booked online. Thus, many people don't know about it. The hotel was sold out but the suite was available. I had thought that bookings opened the first day of the month 12 months in advance. Instead, bookings open (I think) on May 1 for the following year. I booked in August 2016 for August 2017 and found almost nothing til I thought to check for suites.

Presidential Suite
The Presidential Suite is a spacious 3 room, 2 bathroom suite with scenic views of Yellowstone Lake that have been enjoyed by President Coolidge in the course of the hotel’s 125 year history. Each bedroom is furnished with a queen bed. The living room is complete with an oversize wet bar with refrigerator, dining table, and a spacious seating area including a sofa sleeper. One bathroom features an over-sized deep soaking tub and separate shower, the other a bathtub with shower. Televisions, radios, and air conditioning are not available in park lodging.
