Thanks for that, it's in posts 446 and 437 amongst other places, which date from 2014. Not something I was aware of before, I think we could probably do with a few more reports on this, which you have duly solicited in the right thread!
I think that the comment originated from my post here, which I think was (by chance) from the first LHR-FRA-LHR rotation that put passengers the upper deck:

I stand by the observation; but as we have discussed many times since, much of this was particularly noticeable because of the quietness in general of the entire aircraft. If recent experience is that the hissing is not noticeable, might some work have been done to the door seals generally? ISTR that another operator (SQ?) had an incident which required some revisiting by Airbus to the seal design.
