I am looking to buy a lot of furniture at Macy's. It would help if I could get discounted gift cards.

The discover portal offers 10% cash back but my items are not on the website.
Could I buy items through the portal (10% cash back), do a store return for a store credit (gift card)?
Would this essentially give me a 10% off gift card?
