Any thoughts? I don't regard either Jackson or Teton Village (including Amangani) as options since they are a 2 hour drive away from Yellowstone, which is too far.

My very old recollection is that there is no place in the park itself that is even close to being at the level of, say, the Ahwanee Hotel in Yosemite, but it's been a very long time since I have been there and things might have changed.

Most other lodging is in West Yellowstone just outside the park boundary but again, it did not seem like there was much there that was even upscale.
