My understanding is that the Special Fares table is only for AA-marketed flights. If the segment is marketed by another carrier, then that table will rule. So an AA-marketed business class flight booked via AA Vacations will earn 2.0x EQM/mile, while a BA-marketed segment would only earn 1.5x.
Is there evidence to the contrary?
