New to Silver - How long before I can use the lounge
Evening all
I have a trip next weekend arriving back into LHR Sunday - this gives me the required tier-points to move from current BA Bronze to Silver.

How long will it take for these tier-points to show on my account / and so for my status to move from Bronze to Silver please? I have another trip the following Sunday on BA long haul and would like to use the lounge / select seats for free.
Also - if this will in fact happen in time, is the app-Silver card sufficient to enter - since I expect it will take some time to get an actual card in the post?

Lastly - travelling in WT from LHR T3 - I read that the CX lounge is the way to go rather than BA - can I take a guest in here with me? (same booking) based on the above
