the sad part is that just about every hotel in the same area says either "georgetown" or "georgetown area": Hilton Garden Inn Washington DC/Georgetown Area (across the street from the Marriott), Embassy Suites WDC Georgetown (up the street), Best Western Georgetown, Westin Georgetown, Fairmont WDC Georgetown - wow! See for yourself on Google Maps.

at least the Park Hyatt, Ritz-Carlton and Ren Dupont Circle aren't blown such "georgetown"/"georgetown adjacent" smoke.
