No have not been back since the remodel.

The post you quoted was from 2013, the rest of the stay got quite a bit better. We also were there for 6 nights the same time of year in 2014 and liked the lounge much more. Food offerings were still rather low quality for this level of hotel, but we really like the atmosphere as long as it is not overpacked as it was on the first few nights in 2013.

We would love to go back someday, but recently we've been focusing on Asia.
