Meh, I'm not much of a Whisky guy. My brother bought me a small bottle of Johnny Walker Blue a couple of years ago for my birthday, and while I appreciated its fine craftsmanship and complex flavor notes, I didn't like its taste. There's just something slightly revolting about it. Maybe I just have to acquire a taste for Whiskey.
However, I love Cognac, and Paradis is a must. It's just too bad that alcohol (and food, for that matter) tastes different at 40,000 feet, so I won't really get to taste what it's like.
I'm going to order caviar and pair it with D.P.. That will be my pre-appetizer for sure.
