Definitely never had the problem on a 777.

Like I alluded to before, I don't know if there is something faulty with the software or if there is a specific reason for the change. But I have seen it enough that I now notice it when I am on a flight, and I have never had to think about it before.

FWIW, yesterday I flew PVG-HKG on CX and it was all working fine. It was a 777.
