I attempted to use some of my free days to rent a PFAR and am Executive Elite. The counter agent informed me that he can't rent out Suburbans, Yukons, Tahoes, etc. (basically any premium or full size SUV) on free days, unless I somehow made a reservation for that class, which I couldn't do so since it didn't show up as available. (There are always PFARs at my local National location, but they rarely show up available to rent online.) He said he could upgrade me for a charge of $30 or so a day.

Same story with the LCAR and GXAR they had out in the lot.

Is this standard policy now or did I just run into a mis-informed agent?
